The Show Must Go On!

Paul getting into character as Harvey Winer.

What happens when one of your Actor's start to lose their voice minutes before the first act is to start? Our Swing Actor, Robert, was performing at a Benefit performance across town, so Paul had to go on.

Paul plays three parts in the show. His first character, Steve Harrington, Louella's  secretary sounded very husky and sexy (at least according to his fellow female cast mates).

Producer Harvey Winer's nasally voice was comically husky.

Love was in the air Friday night!

Posted by ActOut Mystery on Sunday, February 14, 2010,
Friday night we had our first wedding proposal during the show.

One of our audience members Brad (playing one of the audience parts in act one) escorted Martha (who was playing another audience part) to the center of the room and got down on one knee and proposed marriage. The Weekend is Almost here!

Posted by ActOut Mystery on Thursday, February 11, 2010,
This weekend should be loads of fun! Natasha Lloyd returns to play Paris and Jessica this time. Heather is back as Roz, Babette, and Arlene. Carson, Robin & Paul are still playing their usual parts and our wonderful Stage Manager, Carol Anne, and House Manager, Dan, will add, as always, to the silliness that will ensue.

Tickets are still available for both Friday & Saturday. What better way to spend a Valentine's weekend but with a little mystery and intrigue?

Valentine Gift idea.

Above photo: Cast and Crew acting goofy for the photographer Carol A. Hass

One audience member who bought tickets for this weekend said she and her husband never do anything on the actual Valentine's day and try to celebrate before or after to avoid all the crowds and expensive "specials". She was going to let some friends know about us and what a great idea (and price) we had going.

Dinner, murder, mystery, comedy, and a chance to be an actor! What better way to say; "Be my Valentine!" ?

Wigs were a flyin'!

Posted by ActOut Mystery on Sunday, February 7, 2010,

Saturday night's performance was hysterical! Natasha was playing Roz Bussel (our Rosalind Russell spoof) in Act One. She was wearing a black beehive wig and a very stunning red jacket and matching dress ensemble. When the shots were heard offstage, Natasha flung her head around and her wig came flying off her head! Big laugh and the audience thought it was part of the show!

Also from last night, our Audience participation parts were very funny! Every single one of them got into their parts and...
